Yoga Underground ~ a yoga-delic, yoga-phoric experience!
Tsada Yoga is perhaps best known for its’ weekly Yoga Underground
- a socially conscious and community oriented class created to
cultivate healing energies and vitality uniting each of us with Mother

Underground flows by-donation at various indoor and outdoor locations

& healing stretches. No gymnastics, no acrobatics, no contortions, no power moves,
no references to fashions, no references to weight loss, no competition
for the the tightest abs, no need for grandiose numbers, no popularity
contest.
WHAT'S LEFT?? Expect the unexpected! Like-minded supportive people seeking inner peace
as well as global peace. Principles over public opinion polls.
YU Notes from 12/4/11 ~ 'YOGA WITH YOU & FRIENDS' restorative yoga flow
& healing stretches. No gymnastics, no contortions, no power moves,
no references to fashions, no references to weight loss, no competition
for the the tightest abs, no need for grandiose numbers, no popularity
contest ~ just like-minded supportive people seeking inner peace

YU Notes from 7/8/11 ~ On Friday, July 8, from 5-8pm, you’re invited to a FREE block party
at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Enjoy live disco music by
Le Freak in Strauss Square, gourmet food trucks on Flora Street, fun
challenges and games and a live remote broadcast from KRNB.
You’ll be able to “test drive your seat” or go on a backstage tour at
the Winspear Opera House and meet AT&T PAC resident companies and
other Dallas Arts District organizations in Sammons Park.
After the party, ease on over to the Wyly Theatre for the first-ever
performance of Dallas Theater Center’s The Wiz, produced in
collaboration with Dallas Black Dance Theatre. This
Pay-What-You-Can* performance gives you the opportunity to see the show
for as little as a penny!
*All tickets for this Pay-What-You-Can performance will be sold in
person exclusively at this event. Tickets will be available on a
first-come, first-served basis and seating is limited, so make sure to
get there early. For this one-time special event, the Wyly
Theatre box office will open at 5pm for ticket purchases.
YU Notes from 6/19/11 ~ Park at the Reverchon Recreation Center (3505 Maple Ave, Dls, 75219)
and make your way behind the center, through the park and to the top of
the stairs. Our YU spot is a clean, green, shaded area just off
the trail at the top of the stairs ~ right next to the icy water
fountain. Bring a towel and your mat if you have one - if not
we'll have some available.
YU Notes from a past YU ~ Dance, move, get your own yoga-flow on! Don't come to be taught ~
come to feel it! Free-style class ~ move and groove at your
own pace! Or just hang out and 'get moved' as you listen to Len
and the other percussionists. Bring a picnic or enjoy a treat
from the Lily Pad Cafe - on-site at the park.
YU notes from 4/17/11 ~ Thank you to Tree (Treesha King) - one of Dallas' premier yoginis and
bodyworkers - for hosting our Yogaunderground flow! We
throoughly enjoyed spending a few beautiful hours in your new healing
space - RECEIVE Wellness Lounge. Chinook orchestated a
beautiful, holistic flow that infused all of us and your new
therapeutic space with loving yoga spirit!
YU Notes from 3/6/11 ~ Tsada welcomes guest teachers John Daskovsky and Amanda Masters
from the Himalayan Institute. Join us for John's 60 minute yoga
flow (all levels - beginners welcome) followed by a 30 minute
conversation about the Himalayan Institute's Trees for Tibet
campaign. All donations go to Trees for Tibet.
YU Notes from 2/20/11 ~ Beautiful Brazilian-American yogini, Walleska Tepping, recently
opened a cool retail space in West Village, showcasing her unique
eco-chic creations. Her space is intimate so this YU will be -
first come, first served! The space holds a max of 15 so if
you're late - you're welcome but you may be flowing on the sidewalk :-)
After your 'by donation' yoga, stay to enjoy Starbucks, Pacciugo, Taco
Diner or any other of the fab offerings in the area. Chinook
plans on staying to take in THE OSCAR NOMINATED SHORT FILMS 2011:LIVE
ACTION at the Magnolia at 8:50 PM. Join us!
A note from Chinook....
Congrats to all 40 of you who participated in this new year's Tsada
Revolution/Personal Evolution Yogathon. As you know, a lot of new year's
resolutioners fall by da wayside as soon as da month of January is over
- never to be seen again. So to keep you motivated & to not
let this become just another trendroid fad, I challenge you to go
beyond fadism & re-commit to another month of
self-excellence.
New year's resolutions should really be called new month resolutions
since most quit their discipline after just 1 month. So for those
yoga warriors who want to take it to da next level, we challenge you to
leave da new year's resolutioner's mentality behind & continue to
make this a life practice as opposed to a new year's resolution.
Tsada's P.H.D. program stands for: PRACTICE! HEART! &
DETERMINATION! This program encourages & assists you in
succeeding in your long term goals. Just imagine what will happen
between now & this summer. Don't hesitate , don't
procrastinate. EVOLVE!
SIGN UP SOON on our new February posters in the reception area! Your smiley faces are waiting :-)
